Go! Go! Curry @ Ion Orchard

Had this for dinner just now, its huge for a twin sharing portion with a combo of chicken & pork cost 18++. The curry sauce tasted stronger, thicker & peppery. Not spicy as usual. Just fragrant! Worth trying. But what make me enjoy its the experience of being served by real Japanese. Although, a couple of the staff are not. But with the loud greeting when you enter & just when you leave really makes you feel "japan". I'm abit lost at reaction actually :)

Have a try, they are located next to R burger. Look out for the Black Gorilla!!!

AOBA Hokkaido Ramen @ ION Orchard

This restaurant is located at level basement 3, same level with several other dining restaurants too. I remembered this is the restaurant that has a Q every damn dinning hours. Guess I'm lucky this Saturday morning. No Q!

We ordered Shoyu Ramen and Seafood Ramen with mentai chicken wings & pumpkin croquette. The ramen belongs to the thick and eggy type. Japanese Shoyu soup base usually tastes quite saltish & oily, Jason's Seafood Ramen is just right, light & refreshing. But both are still better in taste than Aijisen’s Ramen. Ironically, AOBA Hokkaido Ramen also belongs to Aijisen group. The mentai chicken wings is actually tiny wings with cheese, nice but feel cheated I'm not sure y. But If you are a pumpkin lover, please order the pumpkin croquette. Crispy on the outside yet creamy on the inside. Serve hot! So beware!

I'm not a fan of ramen, but if I was to waste my carbo on ramen it has to be good or different. It’s good and well worth a visit, but I not queueing.

This is want is playing on my ipod for the past weeks. Yes, I should have recommended this to every soul on earth since its good!! So damn good! This electro-pop sounds are more expansive than ever, with the bleeps retreating behind lush, Elliott Smith-like arrangements on "The Bird and the Worm," while re-recorded fan faves like "Hello Seattle" and "If My Heart Was a House" benefit from ever-so-subtly enhanced production. Musically tuned to emo at its most twee and feel-good, with lyrics ripped straight from journal pages and melodies so sweet that they make the Postal Service sound almost abrasive in comparison. I think of them as OneRepublic + Postal Service of 2009.

Owl City is an American electronica musical project. It consists of Adam Young and he refers to his backing band plus himself as "Owl City" after Adam's hometown Owatonna, Minnesota. Adam is sometimes called "Owlman" or "The Owlman" by fans. Young started out making music in his parents' basement, which he claims is a result of his insomnia.

You might be hearing alot of the song "Fireflies" which is a hot favorite on local airwave. Besides that tracks worth mentioning: The Saltwater Room, The Tip of the Iceberg, Dental Care & Meteor Shower.
